What is a channel manager?
A module that connects the Glavbook calendar to booking channels: bookings arrive in a single calendar, and occupied dates are blocked across all sales channels.
Which channels can I connect?
Avito through a direct connection, and Sutochno.ru and CIAN through calendar sync. More channels are on the way.
How quickly are dates blocked?
With a direct connection, data is exchanged every few minutes and immediately after a booking changes. With calendar sync, Glavbook fetches the channel calendar every 30 minutes, and the channel refreshes the Glavbook calendar on its own schedule.
How is a direct connection different from calendar sync?
A direct connection transfers complete bookings, including guest details and the amount. Calendar sync transfers occupied dates only.
Can I manage prices on the channels?
For now, the channel manager transfers bookings and occupied dates. Prices are set in each channel’s own account.
What happens if two channels take a booking at the same time?
Once the first booking arrives, its dates are automatically blocked on the other channels. If a second booking comes in before a channel refreshes its calendar, the calendar will not save the overlap and will flag it for a manager to review.
